Scalable Productivity:  Based on the latest Server PLUS Harlequin technology, Fusion Server Plus v.7.2 RIPs can be tailored to meet your production demands. A broad range of productivity enhancements are available, providing a modular solution for outstanding performance, reliability, digital integrity and workflow automation.

Expanded Output Device Support:  With support for over 100 imaging devices, Fusion Systems RIPs are the ideal solution for driving a broad range of color proofers, wide format plotters, film and computer-to-plate (CTP) imagers.

Extended File Format Compatibility: Fusion System RIPs are PostScript Level 3 compatible and support direct processing of PDF 1.2 - 1.6, PDF/X-1a:20001, PDF/X-3:2002, PDF/X-4, TIFF 6, TIFF/IT-P1, JPEG, DCS 2., EPS, and JBIG2.

Improved capabilities provide native file processing of transparency layers and all the latest versions of graphics applications.

High Speed Variable Data Processing:  A new PDF Retained Raster feature provides unprecedented procession speeds for variable data in PDF files such as that used in personalized direct marketing.  The requirement to customize print is driving the demand for Variable Data Processing (VDP).

The PDF Retained Raster feature accelerates variable data processing by scanning and caching invariant image data that does not change throughout the print run. This retained raster data is recalled as required.

Superior Font Support:  Extended font format support includes PostScript Type 0 (composite), Type 1, Type 3,Type 4 and fonts, as well as native processing of Type 32 and Type 42 True Type fonts.   Advanced Font Emulation is now included with precision typographical reproduction of fit, leading, kerning, ascenders and descenders.

The Server RIP can be set to automatically convert RGB to CMYK, Spot colors to CMYK and Rich Black text to 100% Black.

Built-in PDF Preflight:  The Fusion RIP now includes in-line PDF preflighting using built-in Enfocus PitStop 4.0 lib/v7 Preflight Profiles.
