Fusion RIP Device Compatibility

Fusion Server PLUS RIP

Driving CTP Engine using the Standard TIFF Out Feature Computer To Plate Engines that are compatible through TIFF Catcher applications, TIFF catchers or TIFF shooters are applications that receive the TIFF file created by the Fusion RIP and output the 1-bit TIFF files on the connected CTP device.

Fusion Systems International’s Harlequin RIPs can be used to feed 1-bit TIFF separations, to an extensive list of film imagers, CTP platesetters, and Digital Printing Presses.

The FSI RIP can be hosted on either the Windows OS (Windows 2000 Professional or Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Professional) or Apple OS X (Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther), 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard).

The Fusion RIP supports the following platesetters either through direct TIFF output, through manufacturer's TIFF downloader or through existing RIPs or hardware that can accept and pass through 1-bit TIFF data:
